The Week that Wasn't

19:17 - Ann Coulter, financial genius. /
35:15 - Listener feedback /

This week Will and Daniel relive the week that promised: relief for the troops, a return of habeas corpus, and the potential to cut off the funding of the Iraq occupation. Do you even need to guess that none of these promises were met? As a free bonus, we were also treated to a "sense of the Senate" resolution condemning an activist group for making activist statements.

Since Will proved his prescience last week with the paramilitary stories, we find out what lies in wait for us in Iran. How does this relate to the financial genius of Ann Coulter? You'll just have to listen to find out.

The show closes with listener e-mail and voicemail.

Will delves into the CATO Institute's report on para-military incidents, and listener e-mails and voicemails are answered.

Censored Time Travel

22:30 - Down Under Fun w/ AmeriNZ
52:05 - Listener Feedback

Will steps it up this week by bringing "Project Censored" to our attention. Daniel and Will discuss 5.5 of the top 10 censored news stories from 2007. Attention is then turned to Senator, Entertainer, and Global Warming expert Ted Stevens as he explains why everything will go away if we just wish really hard.

Arthur from the AmeriNZ podcast (amerinz.blogspot.com) joins Daniel and Will in segment 2 to discuss Bush's trip to Australia and life as an ex-pat in New Zealand. The show ends with Daniel and Will playing voicemails and e-mails.

Katrinah-ha

22:45 - Hurricane Katrina Flashback
42:55 - Listener Feedback

A somewhat disjointed show this holiday weekend. Daniel and Will catch you up on some news stories that you might have missed and manage to make the slightest of passing references to Larry Craig. In the second segment Daniel takes you back in time to August, 2005 while Rachel Maddow catches you up with present day New Orleans.

The show ends with listener feedback and a surprise call to someone's voicemail system.
